Your post starts at home.
A reader on another server has followed your publication. You publish a new public post on your own website.
An illustration of federation, not a live delivery test. Geography is a metaphor; delivery, formatting, and replies depend on both services and their settings.

A few things worth knowing before you begin.
Browse the glossaryWhat is the Fediverse?
A network of independently run social platforms that can exchange posts and interactions. ActivityPub is a shared protocol used by platforms such as Mastodon, WordPress, and Ghost. Supported features vary between platforms.
Do I need to move my website?
No. Supported publishing platforms can connect your existing website. Your articles keep their home, while people on other services can follow your publication.
What does the checker actually verify?
It checks public profile discovery and accessible ActivityPub profile information. It cannot prove that every server receives your posts. Follow from a second account and publish a test post to verify delivery.
Will my existing posts and replies appear everywhere?
Not necessarily. History, formatting, replies, and delivery depend on both platforms and their settings. Start with a new public post and test the interactions you need.
