Finish the setup for your publication. Check that the profile you want to share is enabled.
Add a clear name, a short description, and a link to your publication. Copy the complete handle from your profile settings.
Run your handle through the checker. If a server blocks the check, verify discovery manually from a separate account instead.
Use a test account or ask a trusted reader to search for your full handle and follow it. Confirm that the follow is accepted.
After the follow is accepted, publish a new public post. Check its text, links, and images in the receiving account. Then test a reply.
Add the tested handle to your website’s About or Follow page. Explain that readers can paste it into their own Fediverse app’s search.
